By air: The "Guglielmo Marconi" airport connects Bologna with many Italian, European and non-European destinations. The Aerobus connect the airport to the Central Station, and costs 6 euros.
By train: BOLOGNA CENTRALE is one of the largest railway interconnections in Italy, and is within walking distance of the venue (20 minutes). The Department can also be reached with the shuttle bus (bus navetta) C, which stops opposite the Languages Department (Dipartimento di Lingue) in Via Cartoleria. Bus tickets can be bought in Tobacconists and some bars, or from the ticket machines on the bus (exact fare needed: 1 euro 50 cents).
By car: Bologna can be reached easily by car following the A1 or A13 motorways. The centre of Bologna (within the city walls) is closed to non-residents, so you need to park outside. There are car-parks with shuttle service near the ring-road exits. Car parks Bologna
